Frequently Asked Questions

On Scope and How We Work

General questions about OceanWing

Yes. Each service line can be delivered independently with its own scope and timeline. Many clients start with a single inspection or a supply package before expanding further.

After an initial discussion, we issue a scope description outlining the work items, deliverables, timeline, OceanWing's role, and what falls outside the scope.

We do not perform construction work. For procurement, we clarify requirements, compare sources and coordinate delivery; construction contracts remain with the shipyard or contractor.

By fixed scope, by day rate on-site, or by project phase, depending on the type of work. The fee basis is stated in the proposal before work begins.

We discuss deployment conditions, mobilization time and travel costs in advance, then confirm them in writing within the scope of work.
